In June of 2007, my husband DB was offered an opportunity to transfer his job from NYC to Dubai – of course we said YES! We were ready to leave New York again and were very excited to in another country.
When the signed offer letter finally materialized in July, we began to plan our wedding (no living in sin in Dubai for us) – 4 weeks later we were married – 1 week later DB arrived in Dubai – 11 weeks after that, I arrived.
So here is my blog on our Dubai experiences, impressions, likes, dislikes, my love for food and drink, and everything in between.
2009 update: We are currently expecting our first child – due mid-December. Scary scary!
2010 update: Baby HB was born December 20, 2009 and I am now enjoying life as a stay-at-home mom.
